Do I keep my number?
Yes. Your normal SIM keeps your number, your calls and your texts. Monthy only carries data.
Will WhatsApp still work?
Yes. WhatsApp is tied to your phone number, and your number isn't going anywhere. Same for iMessage, banking apps and anything else that texts you a code.
Do I have to stop using my normal SIM?
No. Both stay switched on. You just point your mobile data at Monthy for a few days, then switch it back.
Is there room in my phone for two SIMs?
Yes, because Monthy is digital. Nothing goes in the SIM tray — your physical SIM stays exactly where it is.
Do I need to tell my network?
No. Your contract, your plan and your bill all stay the same. There's nothing for them to know about.
Will it work on my phone?
Most phones from around 2019 onwards. The quick check: if your Settings app has an “Add eSIM” option, you're fine.
